I'd take it one step further.
How about a ban on ALL cell phones. Every single one of them except for police, doctors, first responders etc.
This falls into the I told you so category, because we discussed this a while ago and myself and others pretty much figured this would happen.
Camera Phones
Apparently, sometimes a picture is worth more than a 1000 words, it's worth a little jail time.
I'd take it one step further.

Dont know if I'd go that far Jumper. LOL!
But, there really is a HUGE difference between posing to have your picture taken in some sort of sexy way or state of undresss And having someone take that picture without your permission or knowledge of them doing so.
Gotta figure that places like Health clubs should look out for these things in locker rooms.
Y'know, it was a camera phone that caught those candid moments with sluggo.

I don't think cell phones are bad. I think that the majority of people who use them while driving are simply idiots.
Saturday morning Trav and I were behind a woman making a left turn -- cigarette in one hand, cell in the other.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">But if the vast group of people that have them were not supporting the cell phone network, it would be prohibitively expensive to set up and maintain this network which makes it possible for police, doctors, etc. to have this incredibly powerful tool.Originally posted by Jumper69:

And I believe that any person who may be driving alone should at the minimum have one of those "no monthly fee but high per minute charges" cell phones tucked in the car for emergencies.
Also, to address the original point, over a year ago people were banning cell phones from locker rooms.
no, you bunch of geeks.
A woman that I know asked the source of it, so I did a search for it. You'd be surprised just how many people out there use it for their sig line on boards. SO there....NEITHER one of you is being original.
So, go back to talking about camera phones.
Beautiful cell phone moment:
Last night I made my karaoke solo debut, singing Andy Williams' Christmas classic, "It's the Holiday Season."
To share in this auspicious event, I used my cell phone to call my best friend Zig and his wife Scuba Sue in Coronado, California, and they listened in as I sang solo for the first time EVER!
Special moments. I have horrible stage fright, so this was a big thing. Scuba Sue gave me a 7 out of 10.
She lies. I suck.
Regardless, it reaffirms the value that cell phones have in our daily lives.

I've never really been a fan of Karaoke.
